    Looking for a private range!

I'm looking for a private range for myself and 1 friend for our pistol shooting. I don't mind paying but Id just like a private place where we can practice using holsters, double tabs, and other exercises that are not allowed at public ranges near me.

If anyone out there has some information please shoot me a pm!

    Thanks.

Located in Chino, CA (Willing to drive 45 mintues+ any direction)

You probably gonna have to drive more than 30 min for a private range. Raagues is a little pricey I think. Angeles range is cheaper I believe. $75 for half a day. About an hour drive. Bring a few more friends and split it up.

I believe Corona Sportsmen Club had a waiting list for membership, but I don't know if they still do. It's up by Lake Mathews. Google their site to see.

Rainbow Range is a bit farther, near the BP checkpoint on the 15fwy, just outside Temecula. They too have a waiting list. Calgun members belong to both clubs. I belong to the latter.

Talked to the RO at the Rainbow Range a couple of weeks ago. They had a waiting list of about 400 +/- people.

Burro Canyon has a number of private ranges available. So does Angeles, however, for Angeles, if you're not a certified instructor or similar, you'll have to pay extra to have one of the RSOs present at all times. Burro, you pays your monies and shoots your guns. No supervision.

Dang! I'm sure glad I'm a member. I'm going to be taking my grandson and possibly his friend, there Thursday morning for some .22 rifle shooting.

Burro Canyon is great if you can reserve one of the east ranges. East #2 (i think) is the most remote. We had a great time on that range. About a dozen of us and "we paid our money and shot our guns".

                      Private range

Check out the BLM maps, I have a place that I use SE of Lake Mathews at 117.19.32 - 33.46.43 About 30 minutes from 15 Freeway, Access from La Barranca off of Santa Rosa Mine Rd. So far it is open for bikes and shooting. I go there several times a week.
Havent had any issues with anyone while shooting there.

Raagues in Norco. $30 for 2 hours (if nobody is waiting you can stay longer). You get a private bay to yourself and you can use holsters, rapid fire, etc. The only problem is they normally have competitions going on weekends, but if you go during the week, the place is awesome.

If you don't mind a little extra drive, come down to Pala on a Monday or Friday. It's not private, but you can draw, doubletap, tripletap, whatever you feel like. Just don't ruin it for everyone else by shooting yourself or anyone else.

Burro Canyon has private ranges available for rental. $80 to rent the range and each shooter's range fee is $20 so if you have at least 4 people that covers the rental range minimum right there. Call ahead as usually they are booked out several months.
