I would like to find out how much is it to rent a handgun from target masters? And If I brought my wife would we have to pay for 2 to rent handgun or what? Thanks in advance.

$10.00 a gun. If shooting alone you must bring a gun. If you want to rent a gun either bring a gun or two people. Range fee is 12.00 for the first shooter and 6.00 for the second plus ammo cost.

Target Masters is cool because they close late, but Reeds is a better experience.

They have a wide selection of rentals, ammo are reasonably priced compared to other ranges and they may still be offering reloads, just ask....
Go with your wife on a Thursday night (I think it's 6PM till closing, give them a call) because 2nd shooter is free or better yet if you can,
it's happy hour from M-F 10AM - 4:00PM for more discounted shooting, I believe it's half price for rentals (I never had the need to rent) and $7/hr for shooting lanes.
For gun rental, you only pay for one no matter how many shooters you have. It's 2 shooter per lane so bring friends in even number.

Definitely. Wider lanes, better lightning, cleaner air, more room behind the lanes, less random idiots sweeping people, can shoot more than just birdshot out of a shotgun, quicker to get started and quicker to check out, etc.

Targetmaster has more guns selection but there is more newbies there.That equals to more muzzle sweep while they take pictures

I think you could probably go to Walmart, buy some ammo there, then bring it to Target Masters if you know what caliber you want to shoot. I mean, they probably let you use factory ammo out of a rental, right?

I gotta go with Reeds as well. their clientele has more seasoned shooters, and they have better prices and a better range. with that said, TM is more "new shooter oriented", and they have a wide selection of guns for sale.

TM might be TOO newbie oriented. Kind of scary to see bullet holes in the PARTITIONS between the shooters!

But, it's hard to beat happy hour range prices! Just keep an eye out for total newbs when you are there. Make sure you tell them immediately if they start sweeping other shooters.
