My brother was driving in Wyoming and saw some guys shooting one on the side of interstate 80. He pulled over and they let him shoot it. Genesis it is something every gun lover should do at least once.

              Too far for me.

Although I have 100 rounds of new lake city 50bmg rounds I got for free. Purchased a bunch of ammo at a gun show in Phoenix and the guy offered to load it for me since it a lot of cases. Somehow the guy messed up and put a 100 round can of 50bmg ammo in the mix. Been a few years and still haven't seen the guy selling at any show to give it back to him..Still looking but no luck.

You have that right. In the past, I have shot one twice at a gun show at $5 per round. It is now $15.

We recently held a Zombie shoot in Barstow and one of the members brought his semi auto Barret with the drop down magazine. I had an opportunity to shoot 5 rounds thru it at a metal target a little over 300yrds. away. Lots of fun.

Even with the recoil, it was easier shooting the Barret than being to the side of it; even over 10' away. That concussion is wicked.
