Anyone shoot at OC Sheriffs Range?

I heard it is a nice facility but that they are super strict and will "inspect" you gun before you shoot. Do they care if I bring high capacity mags? Is it worth the hassles? Am I making too big a deal?

I have been their several time. It is a very clean range, not crowded, no banger types (not that their is anything wrong with them).

The fees are $7 unless they have changed and they provide unlimited targets. They do ask to inspect your guns, but I have never had a problem. They do keep a close eye on you, so if being watched bugs you don't go, they have offered up tips and help before and are very nice once they see your not a kook.

      VERY PROFESSIONAL and 1ST Class

1ST Class all the way. It is nice to have unlimited targets but I tried not to abuse this priviledges. VERY Clean--If you have a dirty gun--you should not be shooting anyway-They only allow you to load up 5 rounds per mag--I was very comfortable with the whole enviroment.

It's a really nice range. Probably one of my favorites. They have the whole half indoor/half outdoor thing going on, so you get natural sunlight against your target. Very clean, well ventilated since it's not fully indoors, and very professional staff. The electronic target hangers also show the exact distance of your targets, pretty cool feature.

                        Oh yeah, 25 yards too.

I've always had great experiences there.

                          I went there today.
                          Nice place.
I totally dig that electronic target holder.
I finally got to shoot my newly acuired used SW 41. Nice shooter it is.
