World War II shoot, Lytle Creek

    If interested, go here:

I'm thinking of doing a World War II themed shoot at Lytle Creek. Would anyone else be interested in this?

The basic idea is to get together for a historical-firearm shoot: M1s, Mosins, Mausers, etc etc.
Of course, bring whatever you want. But I think it would be cool if the main idea was for a WW2 shoot.

I was thinking of heading out to Lytle Creek some time next week (between 7/5 and 7/15)

Who else would be in for this?

I have a Czech Mauser and M47 'Moist Nugget' carbine......my BREN Gun S/A is not finished yet, probably another couple o weeks..
I like the sound of that though but may be able to do it closer to the 15th..how about doing a poll style thread to see who could go or list dates available....

Way too far away for me. If I came we would cover Sweden, Germany, the Soviet Union, U.S.A, Finland, Switzerland, Japan, France, and Austria.

I think a WWII shoot is a great idea - unfortunately I can't afford to go for a while, yet. I thought about arranging a shoot for some friends on June 6th and to bring some US and German small arms used on D-Day, but couldn't get it together in time. Maybe next year on that one.
