NNPC training class and informal shoot Burro Cyn

Hi, guys. Sorry I’m so late getting this out. This Saturday, 14 NOV, at 9 AM, Burro Canyon, Tactical Range 1-C, is our monthly NNPC match. For this month, instead of our usual match format, our own training specialist, Harold, will be providing us with some of his expertise from his many years as a training officer of the LASD and multi-year National Police Olympics Champion. You will need your sidearm, holster, and ammunition for this event. As there will not be competitive stages as such, we will dispense with the three gun element of the match. If you plan on bringing any long guns to shoot after the training session, feel free to do so, as we have the range for the entire day.

This is "street cop" training and experience, as well as what will get you in trouble if you have to shoot defensively.

Cost is $35 to cover range rental, targets, etc.

    Allen

Please check in with us at Tactical Range 1C, the first one on the right as you face the rental ranges across from the office. We pay the range for our group. Also, bring chairs, snacks or lunch and drinks. The food service is pretty iffy at Burro - sometimes someone is there, most times not.

      Thanks!

We had a great session today. I learned a little more, even after working with Harold for several years. Today, it was little tweak to my grip. Most of the other CQB techniques I had already learned from Harold. We had about 10 shooters, I believe and they all were very grateful and appreciative of Harold's experience and knowledge.
