Hey guys myself and a few buddies will be heading up to "The Quarry" off Finning Mill Rd in Foresthill on Presidents Day weekend on the 15th. We plan to shoot and clean up the place some. Last month we were there it really was atrocious. We cleaned up a bit, but in 10min of cleaning we must have taken 2-3 55 gallon trash bags worth of trash and shotgun shells. I'm honestly surprised the Environmentalists haven't made big complaints about this area already. Its that bad...
This isn't and official clean up, but if any other Calgunners want to meet there with our group and help clean up and shoot for the day that would be great.
My friends and I will be up there Sunday Feb 15th between 10-11am. I will be rinding with my buddy who drives a 2nd Gen Silver Cummins. Keep and eye out for it if you guys want to shoot and clean up some together.
Remember to bring plenty of snacks and water. Last month is got pretty warm up there! Folding chairs, tables, and an EZ up is also very nice.
