Help me find a new place to shoot near Sacramento!

Hi,

So long story short, I usually go to Spenceville range near lincoln. I had a very negative experience with some of the undesirable types which are known to frequent the area. Never had a problem until then, but I'm glad my shooting buddy was CCWing because the problem escalated into threats of physical violence by the douchbag in question. It was completely unprovoked, and the other shooters around us were shocked by the whole situation. Amazing!

Anyway so I need some leads on places to shoot near Sacramento. Like an hour away, spots along Hwy 50 and Hwy 80 would be good. BLM land or designated unsupervised ranges similiar to spenceville but without the violent criminal "gang banger" element.

200-300 yds or longer preferred.

Mostly accessible by car. Can hike in if it is not to far from the dirt road.

Is this the right sub-forum for this?

Does anybody have any leads?

The reason there are less and less places to shoot are because poeple trash them.Knoxville south of clear lake was incredible 30 years ago till it got so trashed it will never open to recreational shooting again and that was blm land.If someone has a tip on agood to shoot place please tell him in a pm so it isnt trashed
