Hi there all. I used to go here often and saw an old thread. Is this place even open and available for target shooting anymore? Saw my first wild Bobcat here about 10 years ago. A great place.

It is still a shooting area but it is seasonal. Not as good as it used to be. Good for pistol and shotguns but nothing long range. After a fire some years back, usfs changed it up a bit. Now shooting is at posted areas. It was closed last week due to lake fire, doubt it will open again until winter. You can check usfs website or call for info.
