No info on the range status. I did hear it on the scanner yesterday, sounded like it was mopped up quickly. 5 acres or so?
Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.

Didn't it catch fire last year about this time too? I remember I went out there last summer and found the place ablaze and Cal Fire rolling out to it.

I was out there a month ago and it showed signs of having been burnt then too. Always thought that Cal Fire burned it to clear the trash and for training purposes.

          All is good in spenceville!
I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it.

Didn't hear about the fire but is it still open during the government shut down, I was always told it was BLM land.

Just be careful out there. It seems most idiots who shoot frequent this range.
