Fire Mission - Objective: Calguners showing gratitude

As some of you may know, our Ventura Chapter has been holding regular clean ups at the Glass Factory in Santa Barbara for a while. Our cleanup event in January had 90+ volunteers who loaded 40 tons of garbage on to 4 rollaway bins. This past weekend, 40+ volunteers helped load 15 tons on two rollways. The rollaway have always been provided at no cost to us by Marborg Industries of Santa Barbara. Marborg has been a critical partner in making our clean up events the great success that they are. Without them, it would not be possible to make the impact that we have been able to make.
We are asking all Calguners to take some time today to show our appreciation by posting a quick thank you on the Facebook page, making a phone call or sending an email.

Even if you are not from the area and have never heard of the Glass Factory, the positive PR from our THANK YOU campaign will give them something in return for their efforts. Marborg's commitment can also serve as an example for other waste removal companies to follow in helping the clean up efforts in other areas of our State.

On behalf of CalGuns.net & CGSSA.org, I would like to personally thank Marborg for your contribution in helping our volunteer mission to clean up a shooting range in the Los Padres National Forest above Santa Barbara, CA known as the "Glass Factory" on Saturday May 11th.

Without your roll-off dumpsters, our objective would be impossible to execute. But with your continued assistance, we were able to achieve our goal and remove approximately 16 tons of trash from the site by Saturday afternoon.

Your assistance with our clean-up efforts has helped to keep the "Glass Factory" open to the public & free of charge.
