as it sits now, im unable to do anything right now. i was involved in a bicycle/car accident (i was on the bike) and suffered a broken wrist and im in a fixator right now. it sucks. but hopefully ill recover quick and have a nice hefty settlement too. "im gonna be oprah rich!" lol

I was born in Healdsburg [class of '76!] and used to shoot up there every weekend.It's a 300 mile trip now,though...

Really small place, only one party at a time may shoot, not super dirty, but a single lane road in, and LOTS of bike riders on it, so go Slow or you'll get some crap on your truck grill!

No, it''s just a small area. There is a "target area" off to the left, but I wouldn't use it as you're firing in the direction of Pine Flat Rd. There's only one safe firing direction IMHO.

Good to hear there is a place in northbay since I am there a fair amount. I'll have to make it up there. If I do, I would be happy to bring some junk home.

Has anyone conclusively proven that this is public land that is OK to shoot on? As one person commented, there's no BLM land listed anywhere near that location.

Sure, others have shot there before but is that a good excuse for you to trespass and shoot up someones private land? Worse yet, wouldn't you hate to be the one guy the finally gets popped by the cops for shooting up someone's land (or worse yet, some part of some non-profits preserve) and therefore responsible for all the damage other yohoo's have caused?

As gun enthusiasts, we have enough problems with bird lovers (i.e.: the dumbass condor).

there's BLM land markers just off the road about a quarter mile before the shooting spot,so at one time it was BLM land. Whether it still is, I don't know.

This place was off to the right of the road, had a large spray painted area that was kind of marking it, like a bill board size kid tagging the area, so thats how i found it, safe back stop, follow the road up and it gets to a large open gate, narrow gravel road, 1 fun drive. Saw a wonderful 6 point buck on the reserve, wow!

Let's do this! Sunday Oct. 18th. I know no date will suit everybody but if knowone sets a date it won't get done. I'll bring my full size truck and as many 100-gallon wheeled toters (borrowed from work) as I can fit in the back. After we get done we can shoot! I'll even bring some frosty cold beverages.
