Since this seems to be the only thing on this site I can find that pertains to Ventura county, I figured I would say Hi here. I am brand new, do not own a firearm yet, but would be more than willing to help out on one of these cleanups. I took a class last night for beginner shooters to get acquainted with firearms in general, and everything else that goes along with it. I figured this would help immensely with picking out the correct gun for myself. Let me know how I can help otherwise, I don't have a lifted rig anymore, but my friend has a trailer/F-450 I'm sure he'd let me use for the day, or he might even come up.

Wow, this thread keeps on going... as I posted in another, newer, fresher thread, i'm planning on going up there today and scouting out the scene, maybe plink a bit with my new rifle.

I was up there the past sat (2/13) as well with my brother in law and wife.
Good times. There were a lot of people out there but I didn't talk to anyone really.
We humped out a decent sized trash bag of shells and trash.
There is a lot to clean up and getting a key for the gate would be clutch.
I am excited to get the clean up started!Comment

hey everyone. i was wondering where this cherry creek is located at in the county. i havent gone shooting outdoors in a long time. only used to the pistol range at shooters. and would rather my time go else where if i can avoid it.Comment
