    Helms House of Guns

Are they still in business ? I was there maybe 10 years ago, nice small industrial complex space and great consignment selection of rifles, but I can't find them now. I was told that another company took them over; S&T Firearms ? Any comment ?

    Thanks

New storefront (Schmidt and Titoni), same bad attitude towards customers. Try Markell's on Mark West Springs Rd.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Sacred and terrified suck donkey balls the "owners" think they know every law for fire arms...LEO can have more than 10 rounds for their firearms...s&t say that is not true and ar 15 rifles are also illegal in CA...I have been there twice and that was enough for their bad advice and bs prices

The only reason to go in there is to see if they might have a specific used gun on consignment that you're looking for. Rinkor is better, as is Pacific Sportsman.

Check out Rinkor Arms on Mendocino Ave. I've been there a few times to do transfers and they're all pretty nice and well informed.

The guys at rinkor arms follow you around the store the whole time while at least one / 3 of them have eyes on you at all times while talking about someone trying to steal a magazine. How they are all armed, have cameras everywhere and caught the guy last time with his license plate and have his address. Then they all stair you down as you talk about with out buying anything. But the thing is they don't really have much in there unless your looking for a $1400 le only kimber. Didn't even have ear plugs which I had came in for. So unless you like feeling super awakward the whole time you looking around I would stay out.

I would recommend checking out Triple A's in Vallejo. They have a good selection of guns compared to Rinkor and do SSE's on Glocks and 1911's. You do have to get buzzed in but don't let that deter you from checking this place out if you're in the area.

I'm at AAA often, I've done a lot of handgun business there
I was just looking for a shop with a large inventory of hunting rifle consignments.

                      Thank you all.

                        Rinkor Arms

My experience at Rinkor Arms has been quite good. Brian the shop manager is very knowledgeable and not pushy. Bought my Versamax Tactical there last year, and they were great help on a transfer of an HK USC that was sent from out of town. I like Markels too, but Rinkor's has more gun inventory. They are working on an expansion to the shop space, so you should see more inventory of accessories soon.

I have never noticed a bad attitude at S&T. I have purchased several firearms from them and some reloading stuff as well. They have always been nice and helpful
