Pope valley here. Wish I had a good place to shot outdoors. Pretty much have to drive over to Vacaville any time I want to shoot.

Napa County here, north of the city. This site doesn't get much activity! Surely someone around here has access to private property for shooting!
Indoors at Center Mass, sometimes Yolo, sometimes Circle S. Still trying to figure out how to get on the list for the Napa Club and Twin Sisters range.

American Canyon here, new to the area.

I'd love suggestions on where to shoot.

So far I go to Concord or San Rafael.

Now in Kelseyville, per my previous post, although spending 1-3 days a week in SF Bay Area.

taperx, when are the next gun shows in LC or Ukiah? We need a booth there.

We just had one in Lakeport last month. I have lots of people from Sonoma, Napa and some from Mendo but not to many from LC.

FWIW LC folks are not to up on Internet from what i can tell. Next year will be the time to get this done.

Did Circle S for the first time last Friday with a buddy from Sebastopol. Had a truly good time. RO was a decent human and everyone shooting was good peoples. Dunno why it get such bad reviews on here and on yelp. Wasn't as "hood" as a few reported. Usually shoot handgun indoor at Bullseye but had a new 7.62x39 ar upper and a Mossberg Patrol .308 to try out.
Thinking of trying out Richmond Rod and Gun next.

Figure as long as I stay away from Richmond anywhere near I80 or Canal Sts., I should be fine!

                        Rohnert Park.

I used to shoot at Circle S until they were forced to put those silly shades over the shooting line. Now, I have to scrunch down to shoot at 100 yds, and forget about shooting the AR at 200 yds.

I joined the Valley of the Moon Trap Club to shoot clays. They have a rifle/pistol range down at the end of the line that is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If you're not a member, you must be accompanied by one. Rifle shoots at 100 yds from 9 am to noon, and pistol shoots from whatever everyone agrees on (10-20 yds) from noon to 3 pm. There are only 6 rifle benches, but the ROs don't get all pissy (like Circle S) if you want to shoot offhand or prone.

Sometimes, I go down to Diablo Rod & Gun, north of Concord. That's a great place to shoot, with plenty of room on all ranges. They only have 50 and 100 yd rifle, but they have rifle, pistol, skeet, trap and 5-stand. Take all your toys!
If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous!
If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid about?
