Just out of curiosity, since it's far too expensive for me anyway, but what does one receive for his or her $70 ticket to this event?

Why is it always about what do I get? How about support for a group that contrary to some beliefs actually does fight for our gun rights? Or does that not make you feel good enough because you don't have a materialistic object in your hand.

It's not about "what do I get" for me. As I stated, it was curiosity, as I have never been to whatever sort of event this is, and can't attend this one to find out, since $70 for an evening is just too far out of my reach.
Is it a dinner? Is it an event with a speaker? Is there some sort of raffle included with the ticket? I have no idea, so I asked the question.

This is a fundraising event. For $70, you get dinner, and an evening full of chances to win firearms and other items. All of the money that is raised by these events goes back into the community to support shooting programs.

Thanks, longslide. As stated, I was curious as to what sort of event this is. Unfortunately, even in good times (out of regular work for two years now) it's too expensive for me. I have been an NRA member for about ten years now, though, so I support how I can.
