The trip at metcalf today was a lot of fun. Although very few CG'ers attended, is was a blast.

Assuming I don't get stuck late at a jobsite up the Peninsula, I can definitely make that happen. Need to hit the range again, anyway; my mechanics and accuracy have been all screwed up on my past couple range trips, and resetting myself would be a lot easier if I was shooting with someone else.

Cool. Hope to see you there. If you want, I'll bring my I-Kam video safety glasses, and you can use them to help trouble shoot () any issues. I can download the video and email it to you after the session, or if you bring a laptop, we can download it on the spot for instant feedback.

Probably won't be necessary, haha.

Pretty sure that it's a combination of switching to a new gun with a narrower grip, different style of trigger, and different sight picture, and recently making the change from a Weaver grip and Weaver stance to a thumbs-forward grip and Mod Iso stance. I think I may be dropping my head to adjust for the sight picture (causing me to shoot low) and trying too hard to use the pad of my finger when I actually get a better grip and pull somewhat closer to the joint (causing me to yank the trigger to the side as I'm pulling it). Couple that with a change in stance and having my thumbs in a different position, and I feel like that explains pretty well why I keep being off target.

Either that or I just turned into a total goon over the past week.

We headed out to Coyote Valley Sporting clays and shot another 100+ clays. It's a beautiful day to be out shooting. Especially with fellow Calgunners and a tasty beef jerky to go with it.
