Awhile back I saw a booklet at Bay Area Gun Vault in Mountain View that did a pretty good job of explaining gun laws, and included specific situations like Sunnyvale's muni code. Might want to check that out. Nice shop with good people, too.

Good stuff, I'll have to check it out once I'm settled in.

        Also, cheaper than Sunnyvale.
        Campbell is the best!

I'll have to check them out but I'm not sure how much shooting I'll be doing as I had 4 shoulder surgeries over the last couple of years and handling a gun is sketchy for me.

              So much for preemption.

The rents must be a shock. I worked with a guy who lived on one side of the street and the town had rent control, he paid around 700. The other side new rentals were going for 4000 for a similar place.

Yes, rents were shocking but "it is what it is"...

I'm glad I scored a job so quickly straight out of the military. Pay is decent but I won't lie, I'm going to have to make adjustments to my life style if I don't want to sink living in the Bay.

If you can swing Los Gatos it's much better than Campbell IMO & right down the road.
