Need new local FFL for out of state transfer

Anyone have a recommendation on an local FFL in or around the Folsom area? I had a great FFL that worked out of his house but was informed he stopped doing transfers starting at the beginning of the year. I was ready to make an out of state purchase for a bolt action rifle but need to line up an FFL first. Thanks

If you're referring to Golden State Tactical, he/they are transferring operations to a guy in Rancho Cordova, I believe. Not sure he's announced an official transfer date yet.

I was using TMF Firearms out of Folsom. Shame too, he made the whole process super easy and had great prices for transfers.

The place johns259 is referring to is Armory Outpost in Rancho Cordova. Ron has handled numerous GunBroker transactions from out of state for me, and his transfer fee is only $25 or so. As long as your out of state purchase is sent from another FFL/Dealer, Ron will take care of you. Keep in mind he's a one man operation so if you go in when he's busy, there will be a wait.
