    WILD BILLS ELK GROVE

I know in the past, Wild Bills has taken a lot of flak for various reasons.
I never had an issue with any of my sales or purchases in the past.

I confess, I haven't been to them for a while. On 3-8-18 I went in there to do a PPT transfer (buyer).
The transfer was done rather quickly, the only slow down in the transfer was the DROS that is done by Brandon or the designated person in the back room.
When I came in to pick up I was in and out in ten minutes or less.

No problems,$35 fee, no other charges, Just like it should be.

Too many gun stores develop a clique type personality that makes a lot of stores appear standoffish or hostile and that hurts the gun ownership cause because people do not want to be around something that is unfriendly to a beginner or appear to be unfriendly to the general public. you lose votes at the voting booth and it is how we ended up with some lousy gun laws when the public voted instead of the legislature. If the gun owning part of society want to reverse laws and get the public on their side then the gun stores are the first exposure and it is important that this step is positive for a scared suspcous public. so when a store owner finds out they are considered unfriendly they need to work on reversing that impression for the cause.

Well, part two for PPT at Wild Bill's.
Went there today to do a PPT(I was seller this time),we were told that they were moving inventory around today, so it would be 2-3 hours before they could do the paperwork. It seems strange that since they were open for business, that they could assign one of the employees to handle the counter while the other employees moved the inventory.

We ended up going to The Shooting Shack, for a problem free PPT.

I used to shop at Wild Bills when they forst opened that location.

It was a nice shop when Brandon worked his own counter.

It has sucked since Sandy Hook, when they jacked up prices and never brought them back down when everybody else did.

Also the service sucks. Brandon tends to hire his friends.......not always the best idea lol.

Never heard a good word about this store. Too bad. The worst I've experienced locally has been Rancho Cordova Gun & Ammunition, what a bunch of know it all down-talking a-holes. On the other hand Rancho shooting center and Sacramento Gun Club have always treated me well and I've rewarded them with lots of business. To the good stores, may you prosper and thrive.

Wild Bill’s has always taken a long time to complete a PPT. The Gun Room across the street has taken longer, even though there are no customers. Go to Shootin Shack or MTG for a quick transfer. Cordova shoooting center is quick too.

For the most professional friendly service just go to SPORTSMANS WAREHOUSE

they will always be there when you need them, open 7 days a week

I prefer the big box stores, better policies, fair prices, more family friendly

no @hole employees like the small shops, the bigger stores wont keep a bad employee like that, they wont last.

I have run into my fair share of @hole employees in the bigger stores as well.
It pays to drive around and compare.

Wild Bills = Wild Sports South

Now in a class by itself.

Yep Sportsmans in Rancho Cambodia is great, never had a problem with them. The best prices on most guns.

Armory Outpost in Ranco Cordova folks. Do yourself a favor and check out Ron's shop.

reputation either makes you money or costs you money so maybe some of these shops will get the message if they care.
