Bad neighborhood..... don't leave anything valuable in your car. Street parking there only.

It's not the best part of Oakland, but not the worst either. If anyone's concerned about parking, I live about a 10 min walk away, and there are better street parking options there.

"This is great news. I know that area well and although it is downtown Oakland it is very a new upcoming neighborhood that is being re-gentrified ( art galleries, hip coffee shops, great food, it is where the "first Friday/ Art murmur" block-party event takes place every month in Oakland ). plenty of paid parking at the large Douglas parking lot ( off of Broadway ), right down the street from the theater or there are usually even some street spots available. This is the new Parkway theater's new location directly across from the "Koreana" Korean supermarket ( great fried spicy chicken to go ), right around the corner from the "Stork club" bar ( a "hella" fun burlesque show, but not on the 10th ). come on folks we only have less than 2 days and we need about 50 tickets reserved.

Got my tickets, going to hound friends and post the event on Facebook again. Less than 36 hours to go!

Its a great movie, anybody with an open mind will appreciate it (pro2A and otherwise).
