Can only atest to the one in Maryland which was dissapointing to say the least.
Had some deceind pellet guns if that's your thing and bows, otherwise it was more like a Sports Authority with a large selection of sports clothing and equiptment.

Just got back from Dicks. Overall, nice store. Nice to have another FFL in Dublin.
They are now open and they do carry ammo and firearms (pleasantly surprised) - shotguns, long guns... no semis, just bolts and levers.

They said they will do PPTs, but just for stuff they carry, no pistols, no AR-types.
They did not have any 22LR or 9mm, just lots of shells, and a few boxes of premium 223 & 45 and some various centerfire cartridges.

Grand opening details... Frank Gore is doing autographs on Saturday. Remington will be there on Friday. http://dickssportinggoodsonline.com/grandopen/dublin/

$10 off $25 printable coupon (not good until 5/31): http://dickssportinggoodsonline.com/...img/coupon.jpg

                    Dick's in Dublin

Bought 3 boxes (max) of 30-30 today @ $17.99 a box. Expensive, but I couldn't find 30-30 anywhere in the area or online, so I was happy to get it. Their gun dept. looks exactly like the store in SLO, so the other new stores will probably be the same. I also bought an Allen shooting rest bag for $29.00.
I was there at 9:30 a.m. and the gun department was the busiest spot in the store!

Dropped by earlier to check it out:

-Saw a guy holding 3 boxes of Rem .223
-One guy asked for 9mm. Clerk said their out but do sell it.
-They don't sell 12ga slugs. (Ammo I was looking for)
                      -Great price on a Marlin 795 ($159)

Was there early today for that free T shirt give away. Nice shirt, made by North Face, too bad it has a Dick's logo on it lol. Got a $10 gift card.

I was thinking they would be sold out of Ammo from the day before and wasn't expecting to get anything but the next thing I know people were walking out with Federal XM193 5.56 420rd ammo cans! Well I wasn't too excited because I knew their price were $249 (no thanks). Since I reload all my centerfire stuff the only factory ammo I buy is .22LR and they had tons; CCI Minimags, Winchester 555, Remington Gold, and a 2000 round ammo cans of Winchester M22.

Also had Remington UMC 50rd boxes of all handgun calibers (the overpriced stuff imo).

They had a 3 box limit if you are buying boxes of 20-50-100rds and a 1 box limit if you are buying boxes of 200rds+. But everybody was bragging about being able to go back for seconds.

I suspect they were taking deliveries for months, has their back room stocked up and are rolling out ammo every day of the grand opening to get people through the doors. If you show up between 8-10AM you are sure to get something.

Ammo is getting low mostly shotgun ammo left and some handgun like 44. mag, and 45 colt. I picked up .223 Soft point Hornady's on friday and on saturday before they ran out today. This store is awesome, it has everything you need and prices are ok. Mainly Shotguns and Rifles, didn't see any handguns, or semi-auto/tactical rifles. They have all your archery needs too which is hard to find in this area. Overall I will be spending a lot of money there.

Personally, I plan to continue to support Doms and J&R in Livermore which are small locally owned businesses.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.
