Hey Calguns, I just got into long range shooting and purchased a Savage 10 FCP-SR along with a set of SWFA tac rings and a 10x42 super sniper scope on it. Thing is, I don't want to spend another $150-200 on a better vise as well as the lapping/mounting kit.
Any recommendations on a smith that can do the job well and for a fair price, less than what I would have to spend for the tools? Otherwise I'm thinking of buying a wheeler kit and selling it on eBay afterwards, maybe recover $60 back. Thanks guys and gals!
