Hi, just thought I would put this out there. The Mag20/40 class (both range and classroom) is currently scheduled for May 1-2 and 3-4 respectively. As of now enrollment has not reached the point to cover expenses and the class may be postponed or canceled if the minimum number is not met. I have been trying to convince myself to do the class for the last few years and finally signed up this year only to hear it may be delayed. Just wanted to let everybody know if you are considering taking the class but have not yet registered doing so now may help make the class happen. I'm not affiliated with MAG or Safety Certs, who is putting it on. After finally breaking down and signing up I am a bit disappointed I may have to change my plans and thought I would see if anybody had considered it but has yet to sign up and make everybody aware of the situation.

Bummer, this looks like a great class, the cost is a bit steep though. Would it qualify for CCW renewal class?

I know the cost was steep but with all the pushing for training I thought getting 15 people to sign up was doable. I live a ways away and pretty much end up having to drive at least 5 hours for anything. I was surprised they couldn't meet the minimum number of sign ups but thinking about it I suspect people in the area figure they can do a class with a local instructor for much less and atleast get some training but I figured if I was going to have to travel I may as well try and get an instructor with a track record but seems there are great instructors in the area worth looking at. Maybe he isn't as popular as I imagined. Sounds lime they may try again next year.

There are not many jobs up there that pay enough for people to afford classes of that quality.
