How "good" is this gunshow? Compared to others?

Turlock was last weekend and bigger than last year (Obama is the best promoter for these things).

    Like the Lodi show?

      based on the last one....

The lodi gun show #1 was a great effort by the promotors. They kept all booths firearm related, no jerky or fruit dryers. It was a bit crowded, something I think they will fix with version 2.0. Much better than the Crossroads in Sac

Any idea if any vendors will be offering 80% lowers?

First one had a lot of stuff, but was very crowded. Hopefully they will have it set up with more area this time.
Also the first one was set up that you had to go to the ticket booth to get your ticket, then get in the long line to get in.
I went to the line first, but I was told that you had to get your ticket first, then get in line. Hopefully that will have changed that or they will have signs explaining that.

I saw the threads for the previous show when I was doing my search.

At the last show there was one seller (I think from Petaluma) that had a range of powders.

                  Mar 5 lodi show

I commend the promoters on using a larger building this time. I stopped going to the Crossroads shows about 5 years ago because they showed far more flea market material than that which is firearm related. I am afraid Lodi may be going down the same road. Great sales on beanie babies, and bbq sauce, but the firearm display booths were less than last time. i hope they find a way to filter their exhibitors, as I can't see paying $9 to get an insurance pitch.

I went today and was also disappointed at what I found. I read the threads about last year's show and thought this might be a good show.

                    Nope.

Jerky, BBQ sauce, solar panels, jewelry, the usual stuff. Hhmmm..., didn't think I was going to see this crap.
The one that really made my blood boil though was the aromatherapy candle bullspit. Seriously? WTF?

One powder dealer. No reloading supplies other than a few bags of old corroded shells. One decent ammo dealer. Fizzy yellow beer for sale outside the exhibition hall.

                    I won't bother next year.

I went last time and again this time.

First time was in the small room with LOTS of people. I had to stand in line to get to a vendor's table.

This time the show was in a larger building and Sunday morning the crowds were manageable. True, there were some odd vendors, but a good show considering it was walking distance from my house.
