Shooters near Modesto

Does anyone know of a safe spot near Modesto to shoot freely? Looking for some people to get together with and shoot some clays and such.

People don't share shooting spots here much.. There are ranges local though.

Escalon Sportsmans Club, Oakdale Sportsmans Club, Manteca Sportsmans Club and Roster Ranch just to name a few all have clay shooting open to the public.

I had nothing but great experiences at Rooster Ranch. They are helpful and just a good group to be around. I've been shooting there for the past 6ish years.

Theres a pretty good range off waterloo outside of stockton

Turlock Sportsmans Club has open Trap shooting on Friday evenings, but I have heard Rooster Ranch really is the way to go for sporting clays.
