I took my daughter out to Steel Peak in Perris for the first time this last weekend.
Here she is shooting at my steel target from about 5 yds away. She did much better than I could have hoped for. She maintained muzzle awareness, proper grip and was even accurate scoring about 8/10 hits on target at the above range.
She seems to be taking to shooting and guns and has asked to come along on the next outing.
