Im 18 for 15 more days and though I have been shooting since I was 11. I just bought my first firearm on my 18th birthday which was a saiga 7.62x39 un converted and then six months ago I bought a remington 870 super magnum turkey and waterfowl model. In 15 days I am planning on buying myself another semi automatic birthday present which will either be an AR-15 or a 9mm carbine. I am located in Northridge and could always use some more shooting buddies my age!

"Who's 18", as in "who is 18", not "whose 18"

I was 19 when this topic started, good enough. Surprised how many young guys here have C&R guns, I'm typically the youngest poster on most forums I've frequented both now and in the past. My collection includes but is not limited to:

                    Colt Models 1848, 1849, 1851, 1860 (a favorite), and 1861 reproduction revolvers
Remington Models 1858 and 1863, as well as a few other repro percussion revolvers
One each flintlock and percussion rifles
                    3 antique south american mausers
                    S&W Models 10 (absolute favorite) and 17

If any of you like handguns and are under 21, consider black powder. It forces you to take more time loading and cleaning, so if you're the impatient type it's probably not for you, but I love the history and don't mind the extra time taking care of my guns.
