It's not completely dead in high school...

So I took a long term sub assignment in a local SoCal high school last semester. There was a kid who was drawing rifle and pistol cross sections and his drawings were incrediblly detailed. They even used most of the proper terminology. I was actually kind of impressed, and as a high school teacher, this does not happen often.

I asked him about it and he said that when he was old enough he was going to start his own company ******** Arms, LLC. Kid was pretty smart and had a 3.5 GPA. I do wish him well...

The next generation is not completely bamboozled. There are a few.

As long as it's a healthy interest, it's to be admired and supported! That's interesting!
