I'll do the same thing this year that I did last year. I'm offing a free brick or bulk pack (500-550 rounds depending on what I find first) of .22lr to the first child 14 or under who gets their first .22lr rifle for Christmas. The conditions are that a parent must be present at time of delivery and local pick up only. If everything works out right, I can even offer a day of shooting on private property but, that's not a guarantee. If that doesn't work out, I would prefer to meet at a local range to enjoy watching some of the ammo used but, again, that will depend on scheduling.

That's pretty cool OP. I bought my two older boys their first 22lrs (Ruger 10/22 takedowns) last fathers day. We've been enjoying the outdoors quite often and I go through 22 rapidly.Ducks Unlimited Life Sponsor

I would take you up on that but, my oldest is 4 I don't think she is at that level of maturity yet! She might get a air soft next year. It will be treated like a real gun. In the safe check the chamber when we get it out. The plus side is she know and can find a combination wrench . Millimeters only. She runs the 12 ton press for me while I hold ak barrels in the press!Comment
