So there's this freight train coming down the tracks. You can see it from a mile away. There's a fork in the rails about 100' feet before the train gets to you.

Do you assume it's going to take the turn, or do you maybe get out of the way before it creams you?

We all saw it coming. Some of us bought what we needed.

I personally believe people are over-thinking this whole ordeal. I'm not saying something can't or won't happen now that we're going to have Obama in office, but I think some people are wearing their tinfoil hats a little too tight.

I saw it coming. I'm not surprised.

I am, however, laughing at people paying ridiculous prices for 135$ lowers.

        I'm laughing a lot

until they dont sell they aren't dropping prices. why would they? plus i'd sell as much for as much as i could get if i thought /knew they would be banned, to save for my next business venture.

I love it! I dont like high prices but it tells me that capitalism is alive and well. The less involved the government is involved in my life, the better. I'd rather pay high-unregulated prices over low-regulated prices, (because then the products probably won't be in stock, and you'd have to wait a year to get it). The market will settle down. Patience is a virtue.

if it werent for the price increases there would be zero availability

It doesn't bother me in the least. I saw it coming and bought everything that I needed before the election.

Now I'll just wait for the panic to die down and the manufacturers to catch up and then overstock, then I'll buy more.

I'm just waiting for all the really good AR-related deals to be found in the next 12-24 months.

I'm a little ticked at the timing of it, since I just bought a handgun the other day. On the bright side, I hope it'll subside sometime after inauguration day. What goes up must come down, right? ...Right?...
