Ladies Only CCW Training - Artemis Defense Institute

Artemis Defense Institute in Lake Forest has been approved by OCSD as a CCW trainer. I was informed today by Artemis co-owner Sandy Lieberman that they will offer Women's only CCW training the 2nd week of every month. The classes will be held Monday through Thursday night classes.

Artemis is a state of the art training and simulation facility used by law enforcement, special forces and corporate security. It's also used for corporate team building so it is very comfortable.

I was excited because well my wife doesn't mind training in a mixed class, my oldest daughter is self conscious enough that she would prefer a women's only class when her appointment comes up next year. I think this will be the answer.

One of the nice things about Artemis is that being woman owned, training women isn't a sideline. They have a women's group that meets every Thursday evening for discussion, tactics, and new items, followed by women's only available range time in their training center. One of the few places you can test yourself in various scenarios from office environment to schools rooms.
