    AR-15 Scope Recommendations?

    Hello all,

Almost have all my AR parts together and I just need a scope.

    Any recommendations?

Any help would be appreciated! This is my first AR-15!

Specs on rifle and the type of shooting you plan on doing would be helpful to know for those that wish to give you some advise.

Agree. Specs on what you want is ideal.

Are you looking for something to do close range (< 50 yards) or something with magnification for more longer range?

I like Trijicon for reflex since they work without batteries.

I have a Leopold for a magnified scope.

If going out for nominal ranges, warne mounts with a nikon prostaff 3-9x40 BDC and you cant go wrong

Sorry for the lack of information:

          223/556 Caliber

          Spike's Tactical Punisher Lower
          Geiselle SSA-E Trigger
          CMMK Parts Kit
          Ergo Grip
          Magpul Buttstock
BCM BFH 16" Mid Length (LIGHT WEIGHT) Upper Receiver Group w/ Daniel Defense LITE RAIL II, 12" Handguard

I will probably only shoot long distances at the outdoor ranges. Also prefer black matte and lighter weight.

Thanks again for everyone's help! I really appreciate it.

I would recommend the Leupold Mark AR line of scopes in your choice of magnification with either a Larue tactical or American Defense one piece mount.

Get in touch with Scott @ libertyoptics.com he is a vendor here and has great customer service with great pricing.

If your going to do long distance shooting or hunting often. Get a scope. Shooting at local gun range, go with an eotech, aimpoint, etc or just use your iron sites

Leupold has good valued scopes for your application and good warranties

Don't buy cheap optics, compliment your build.

You have to see it to hit it...great optics deduct a lot of guesswork
