            seriously.
I did not warn a prior newbie and her initial foray into the OT was a disaster.
lurk in there for a bit.
            and then lurk some more.
you will find some very mean, cruel, and desperate for attention posters.
yes, there are some good people but OT is not for the faint of heart.

Thanks...I am very happy with my AR. I cant wait to hit the range and get my scope dialed it.

We went out in the desert by the Salton Sea. Our buddies have private property out there. We went for Thanksgiving weekend from Wed thru Sunday. I had just picked up my new rifle on the Monday before from Turners.

              Good times wheeling and shoot'n

              Where do you go?

Friendly advice. Hope that helps. Good luck with your new rifle!
Thank you...I need to work on my breathing too. I actually qualified as an Expert Rifleman in the Navy back in 2007 on the M16. Still got my ribbon

I just need to spend some time at the range with my rifle

Lucky you! You have a private area to shoot! My friends and I have shot at Prado, Lytle Creek, Lucerne Valley (Lions Club Range) and plan on going to Burro soon. We have been thinking about the BLM areas as well, need to do more research.

I think we will be at Prado next time we go out.

You might want to double check but I believe Prado doesn't allow centerfire rifles. Only rimfire.

Your correct, I cant shoot my rifle there.

Any suggestions on where I can zero my Aimpoint?
