hey, did you forget to warn Mafia Princess what a sausage fest calguns is, especially OT?!

MP, there is a reason the women of calguns within the confines of the Ladies Forum don't cut the guys much slack here.....benefit of the doubt sometimes.

I didn't see MP's original post over there but I did see the comments. in some ways they were taking it easy.....when they get into full throttle mode over there, well, watch out.

Being a " tough chick" (not my language) is not the point. Even us dangerous women need a safe place to hang out in, occasionally.

For those women new to the Women's Forum, the OT or Off Topic Forum is a rough-and-tumble, no-holds-barred sewer. I don't go there and don't recommend it, unless you have an abnormally strong stomach.

The Contributor's Lounge that MZ refers to above is for those members who have made a financial contribution to CGN.net. If you can't find the Contributor's Lounge that's why. Or you can make a contribution and get in on the fun.

my advice to any new female poster is to "get the lay of the land" before posting in OT. if its not the leg humpers, its the woman haters.

I've seen it time and time again.

I have no doubt that MP can survive in there.....some of us do. but we've learned the ropes and know what to expect. we also choose our topics wisely as well as our battles.

You couldn't be more right MZ. I have posted on OT quite a lot. Honestly, I just put on my thick skin and ignore the jerk responses. Not everyone over there are rude and immature. There are a select few that act human and actually have something with reading.

OT stands for "Off Topic". Many that frequent that forum think it is license to be rude or disgusting. It really gives Calguns a bad name. I wish people would realize that this site represents California gun owners and we represent Calguns. That forum makes us look like complete jerks.
