Documentary: A Girl and A Gun

    Folks,

Here's a New York Times review of the documentary "A Girl and A Gun" and a link to the documentary preview trailer:

I think we've talked this over before, but since the NYT is giving it massive free publicity, we might as well visit it a again and share it with our friends, relations and colleagues. I liked it because it clearly shows that women who have guns, have them for many, many different reasons. We've said that time and again on the Women's Forum.

One of the things I liked best about it is they show women of all ages, ethnicities and physical abilities. One really strong interview was with a disabled woman in a wheelchair who understandably wanted to protect herself from BG's, since she can't just run away..

Here's a clip from the review.

I haven't seen the full documentary. Has anyone seen it? Do we know how to get it?

First time poster in this forum. No invasion intended!

It would be good to see if this could somehow get sent to Kevin De Leons office for this little snippet: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=787776

Only problem I have with it is that some lady at the end of the clip called a semi-auto sport rifle an 'ASSAULT' rifle.
      Should be corrected!

Well, to be picky, the woman who referred to an "assault rifle" may have been from a somewhere that allows such things. Who knows what she's shooting ?

And no one can define that term precisely anyway. We're so fixated on terminology. Someone at the range the other day said "bullet" when he meant "round" and blushed bright red.

Anyway, to return to the topic at hand: I dug around a little and found that at video will be available to rent or buy on Itunes on Sep 3. Or On Demand at Comcast, Vudu, etc. And there was a screening in Claremont this week. Damn.
