Hi, everyone.
I just wanted to drop a quick "hello" to all the female members in this forum. I've been in the Bay Area most of life. Currently live in Gilroy and commute to work in San Jose. The threads have provided a wealth of information. As another new member had posted before me, this is a wonderful place to get another woman's perspective on the world of firearms. Very interested in some of the meet and greet (and possible bbqs) that hopefully take place each month around the county.
I'm super excited. I've always been a fan and admirer of firearms, I've had my HSC for more than a year now, and now I'm happy to say I purchased my first firearm yesterday!
I know..I know...took a while..but hey, times are tough. So now I'm restlessly and impatiently waiting for the longest 10 days of my life to be over with so I can bring my new baby home 
I'm the type of person who gets hooked on things I love, for instance during the first year I started riding a motorcycle, I ended up with a closet full of various jackets, gloves, pants, backpacks, and helmets 
so I already know the same will happen with this new love. Forgive my rambling... so yeah, trying to contain my giddyness.
