I am looking to see if there are female shooters in the San Diego county area who are interested in getting together for range meets and such.


All types of shooters from beginners to advanced and any firearm style (pistol, rifle, etc) welcome.

Thanks....I spoke to hoss_hk last night via phone. We spoke at length about volunteering and the direction of San Diego C3. At the end of it, we decided to run the ideas past Penny's Dad. I PM'd Penny's Dad last night and am waiting for his response.

hoss_hk and I also discussed trying to determine how many women shooters we even have in the area - this thread is the result of that discussion. It was posted with his blessing.

I am aware that there is a Women on Target event planned for the the near-ish future. I explained to hoss_hk that I know a bunch of women who said they would be interested in a class and that I may be able to fill it from just my circle of friends alone. LOL

I'll try and keep you updated on our progress down here in SD!

I live in San Diego, but I haven't had much time to go shooting recently. I finally finished grad school, so once I get caught up on all the things that had been languishing during that time, I may have more time available to shoot.

A special ladies marksmanship class is coming up at the Rainbow Range in Rainbow, CA. The range is off the 15 just south of Temecula, CA, It is set up by me Bill Heyder of Black Wolf Defense. I will hold this class on any weekend afternoon that I get 4 ladies requesting it !! This class regularly cost $150.00 per shooter plus range fees!. But on a Ladies only class it is free just pay range fees. ($15.00) If you don't own your own gun yet one can be supplied. Usually in 9mm ! You will need to supply ammunition for it !! Call or text to 7604020619....text'ing is the best!

This sounded like a great deal. I hope this deal comes up again in the near future.
