Got my DPMS 223/5.56 last week. What a great rifle - hardly any kick but OMG, it is loud. She looks mean but is a sweet heart lol

Can't find the thread about the AR's being heavy but this gun is just the right weight and the vertical grip can really help those tired arms. Only after 200 rounds did my arm start to ache but that would happen to my arm with any gun I put 200 rounds through. I will now have to name her. lol Black Molly perhaps

Thank you Sir Sik - I have a new vertical grip coming with a 400 lumen flashlight - I thought I would blind them first. A "Friend" turned on a 90 lumen, pointed it at my face and I thought I was blind for 5 minutes with all the dark spots in my vision so this 400 lumen - I don't ever want that pointed at me.

Thank you Emily - I added one more thing today. An ITAC tactical defense Light and laser - didn't need the laser but it came with it. Talk about a blinding light - 400 lumens - and it also strobes - looks like a disco party going on in here with the lights out. If someone comes in here, they will look like deer in headlights.
