I totally get where you are coming from. Sometimes I really have to ask myself that same question but I enjoy the company of the good men and women that I have met on here. There are more threads that irritate me(the ex-Bengal Cheerleader/teacher sleeping with her male student? All the guys were cheering that one) than not lately though...

I still remember the horrific stupidity of the Rodney King riots -- people used the merest excuse to destroy and harm others. I also remember how Koreantown held its own -- they were not going to take any crap from anyone.

I suppose as Americans, we're going to have to hope for the best, but be prepared for those ignorant groups who will go out of their way to hurt people.

Discussion of such is highly inappropriate, and as such discredits the entire forum.The following is slightly off topic, but I find the casual discussion of war and advanced "SHTF" scenarios repugnant. War is not a joke, death isn't a game, and destruction of lives and societies in riots and conflicts should be avoided at all reasonable costs, not discussed or encouraged as cavalierly as I see on this and other forums.
