Speaking of videos, I had some of Magpul's videos on my amazon wish list and received 'Art of the Tactical Carbine' as a gift for my birthday.

I haven't finished all 4 dvds yet but so far everything I've seen I really liked.

I am taking a home defense class at the end of October. I would highly recommend taking a class like this and making sure you understand the law.

I'm a fan of the Magpul videos also. For you gals who like the shotgun, there is also a great Magpul Art of Dynamic Shotgun DVD.

The Panteo series DVDs are also pretty good, although production is not nearly as slick as the Magpul vids. I have the Travis Haley Panteo DVDs (Pistol, Rifle, AK). The Panteo Productions website also offers a paid subscription for monthly unlimited access to stream all of their DVD material.

But nothing beats going to the actual training courses! It helped to watch the DVDs to get familiar with the terminology and preview the drills prior to taking the course, but the courses and the instructors were worth every penny!

Here's a link to a Target Analysis site. Savannah turned me on to a paper copy she had from her instructor, and I dug it up online. It's pretty self explanatory, you look at your targets, see where your shots are landing and find the corresponding answer on what you're doing. We may need some help on the terminology, and I'll update if someone will PM me.
