    groupon for firearms training SFBay

just posting in case there is interest; i have no fiscal tie to this group:

it appears guns of many caliber are provided for handling and shooting.

      groupon.com

you sign up for cities that you live in or visit and there are discounts offered by merchants for their services and/or wares.

i've used mostly restaurant ones up and down the state. i've also done a harbour tour in san diego.

vendors pretty much discount their charges by 50%....its a lure to get you in and frequent their place, hopefully, after you've experienced it or bought from them.

you do have to read the terms of the "offer". most have a time frame of anywhere from a few months to a year in which to use it.

for me/us its been a way of breaking out of our usual dining experiences and/or taking advantage of offers from places we already frequent. it has definitely been a $ saver.

you don't lose the $ you spent if you don't use the coupon in the designated time frame. let's say you spend $25 to get $50 of services....but its only good through december 31 and you don't go to use it until january 15. its still good for the $25 you originally spent.

i've got one to use by sometime in november for a cruise around the SF Bay and under the GG Bridge.
