if this 6 year old kid can shoot a 1911 then so should your lady.

I still think she should get a cz75 though... i'm just sayin...

I can't manipulate the slide release on mine without shifting my grip, either.

She can shoot it fine at the range..but in a panic situation Its not ideal.

although i think the linked low mount safety would fix the only real issue.

in any case the 1911 is mine and she could use a gun of her own..the CZ sounds pretty good I'll have her try it if i can find one.

Well,,,, the 1911 does have changeable back straps and trigger length.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

IMO, i feel like i didn't have to change anything about the cz75 i got. the only thing i had to change was just what kind of ammo i can shoot with that thing. the recoil is lighter and way more manageabl for me, the feed ramp has a more modern design, easier to take apart IMO, way tighter groups

I wish i'd never have to admit this but...

              i should have bought a cz75 first, then a 1911

realizing the cost of ammo that i already put down range with the 1911 just boggles me compared to shooting a more accurate 1911 wannabe pistol that i could have shot DOUBLE the amount of ammo compared to 1911, having more range time
