Ladies, I have a question about men.

Men, please don't respond to this thread. This is a question for the ladies.

I was at the gym located in my apartment complex. Doing my thing to keep my girlish figure,

Anyway.

There were two men working out.
One was probably around 35-40, and had guns that were incredible. His workout routine clearly showed he was into exercise and fitness. Handsome fellow to boot.

The other guy was about 33-37, he looked just a little bit younger. His physique wasn't as tight as the other guy, but clearly he keeps himself fit.

The first guy was on the floor stretching, doing situps, rotating on his back and such. The second guy was standing near him, and they were engage in small talk.
Stuff like, apartment contract, where they live, work and stuff like that. Didn't hear anything about girlfriends and such. (yes I was eves dropping, , but hey, they were in a public place)
The second guy seemed to be impressed by the first guy. I don't know if it was because he was good looking, charismatic or what, but he didn't work out for a long time. The second guy just stood there chatting with him.

Here is my question.....
First, I felt there was something odd going on, but I didn't know what.

Question:
Is this normal male bonding?

The reason I only want gals to post is that the men will start making this a locked thread.

LOL well uhmmm.. I've worked with a lot of guys and had gyms in several of the fire stations I was posted at and it was pretty much business as usual. No extra chit chat, or one standing by and watching the other.

I'm thinking that your out of luck with at least the younger one, from what you describe it looks like he probably likes his date nights to be with very fit, handsome guys! If you were getting a strange vibe I think you might of been ease dropping on a possible budding romance

But who knows, I have been forced to watch Jersey Shore a few times for the laugh factor and seems that those guys are really into pumping each other up and complementing their bodies and watching the workout routine. Maybe its a younger generation thing?

Honestly I used to go to 24, and etc locally in Irvine, ALOT, but a few things got annoying, the gay guys whod come to work out would get catty with me, and would just be at gym to eye **** alot of the other guys coming to put work into themselves...

Two, when I am there, I am in game mode, not to get hit on, or flirt, etc. But guys will try and try and try, I wear a ring on my ring finger to get them to stop, but some dont care, they will continue, marriage seems to matter not for most guys, alot of guys at the gym btw are GYM WHORES, only working out for the appearance and attractivity there of, most aren't that functional...just like to look pretty.

Over all....eh. But some guys like women there, will stand around and just socialize, its like after work activity, cause they need a play ground for social interaction, and displaying themselves for "sale". lol.

I invested in my own setup at home, and thankfully don't have to really deal with the ppl at gyms anymore, unless a friend invites to go. Personally I LOVE working out with friends, makes some ppl think I am lesbo, or if with a guy, taken. GAME CHANGER lol.

The best part are the MMA tough guys, who fist at air, and try to hard to catch your attention.

I like looking at nicely kept guys, dont get me wrong. But the problem is, I want a guy whos body is built and toned, and USED purpose minded. I have alot of friends who are LE and etc, and their bodies are tools just like their equip. So eh. I can respect, THAT.

Were the two guys you were observing gay? No way to really tell off glance, but hey, ALOT of my gay friends are pretty hot lol, i dunno what it is, they seem to keep themselves a bit better than the masses of straight guys that litter the gyms locally.

To me, I equate guys at gym, to be like guys with cars.

There are those who BUY performance like a Ferrari, or Lambo, etc. Than there are guys who work at and BUILD their vehicles...nothing sexier than a guy who built what he has, and knows how to USE what hes built

p.s. i know how guys will oogle and drool, I keep myself very very well. I will eye oogle and drool too when I watch my friends fighting, or practicing, and or at the range, their arms...chest...everything...or watch them on courses on each others properties...kinda like ninja warrior, but its just beautiful. Some of them remind me of Spartans, so nicely built, but raw function

I had the same experience in the past as well, when I was training for Adventure Racing.
Nowadays, my chubbiness keeps the men away, but that's changing.

Don't know if they were gay or not, just observed interesting behavior.

Not so hot...tiny body...super huge arms, cant imagine he has much speed/reflex...just looks to cosmetic, no real function.
