Can't say that I have that book, but I have a similar books. I have a food storage. I have canned my own food. I have a bread starter that comes with a pedigree. It's over a hundred years old and makes awesome bread. Some of the ideas in the book don't fit with my lifestyle, but I agree with the basic philosophy. I keep a well equipped first aid kit, and I enjoy camping regularly, etc. I have heard good things about the book though. I am always trying to simplify my life, but some of the "back to basics" ideas take a lot of time. Though it would make a good reference manual.
