I'm so proud of my wife!

She had a day planned with her best friend, but then decided to take her shooting, in addition to seeing a movie and manicure/pedicure.

I helped her prep her G19, printed the Burbank Range Rules, and NRA 6 Rules.

We went over how best to introduce her friend to gun safety, her gun and indoor shooting ranges.

This friend had never gone shooting before, and I attached a picture of her at the range!

Safely introducing someone to the sport/hobby of shooting is very rewarding and I urge all my fellow Calgunners to take some time and ammo to introduce friends and family to shooting.

Good for your wife! But did they go to the mani/pedi afterwards for a job well done?

Thanks guys. The Mani Pedi was part of the day since last week, but the shooting was the last-minute activity addition.

We're planning on Driftwood Boys competition on Oct 8th, after my G17 is released from jail on the 29th.

My wife didn't have a mani/pedi planned, but we did go shooting. We spent 4 hours, she had a good time, and she said she feels comfortable enough to use any of my handguns. Some more range time is in order, but at least she has a fundamental understanding of everything.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
