    Lug Around

What do you all (this is meant for ladies, hence its LADIES FORUM) use to lug around your handguns or rifles?

I alternate between a Sere Soft Case, Pelican, am looking at 5.11's M4 Covrt Bag for Range duty, sew on some Automotive patches, blends in, don't you think?

I also have a Tennis bag with custom sewn in Molle Straps to internally mount magazine pouches, cleaning items etc, as well the rifle itself. Curious what everyone else is using. I also use a soft lunch bag meant for keeping lunches cold, to carry ammo/magazines. Screams less attention than carrying range bags or stuff from Maxpedition, and similar companies.

when i go to the range i take all my pistols....and the appropriate ammo. i end up shooting for 6 hours so you know i'm carrying a lot of ammo. i bought a wheeled suitcase because its just too much to lug around. i've been happy with it.

i get my husband to put it into the car for me but i can pick it up and out of the boot/trunk easily enough and roll it to where i want to be shooting. when its time to go home i've used up enough ammo its lighter and i can put it into the trunk w/o much problem. the case looks like any other black airport carryon.......so no one is the wiser as to what it actually contains.

i usually only take one rifle to the range and just use the case i store it in for transport.

my question for you: do you have a safe and if so which one?

Soft range bag and a folding hand truck -- great combo!

(Copied the idea of the hand truck from a couple of long-time shooters.)

Plus the folding hand truck (max carry: 150 lbs.) does double duty in carting big and heavy things from Costco.

i had thought of using a collapsible shopping cart at some point because i lug around so much ammo:

Organize-It is your online resource for storage and organization products like closet organizers, kitchen storage, garage systems, laundry helpers, storage products, shelving systems, bathroom organizers, office accessories and so much more! Shop our thousands of products and see for yourself.

i see the collapsible hand trucks at gunshows and they look like they work really well.

I have soft cases for my rifles (those both have extra pockets/compartments for magazines, scopes, and some ammo) and a pink range bag that is big enough to lug the majority of ammo, one hard pistol case, two sets of full size ear muffs, some targets stuffed in the side pocket, some little tools for adjusting the scope like allen wrenches and a quarter, sun screen, binoculars, and there was something else we shoved into that little bag but can't remember what it was!

Here is the pink bag which is very durable! With all my over stuffing not one thread has come loose!
Shop shooting and hunting gear, including clothing and accessories, for kids, men, and women. We stock brands like Nica, Bob Allen, Browning, Beretta, Wildfowler, and more.

This is one of the soft cases I use, has a big strap to carry over the shoulder and holds my AR15 with several mags, red dot, more tools, and some ammo.

Both of those bags could be anything other then gun bags in looks. But I do run around with the calguns sticker that says "you do not have permission to search" on them.

For handguns/ammo I use an old multi-compartment laptop bag that was made for air travel. It's on wheels, has a telescoping handle and is very well made.

Rifles just go to the range two-by-two, in standard softsided rifle cases, with a separate compact range bag for ammo.

              Handguns: Pelican case.

Long guns: either a beige soft case (forget which brand), or a really crappy hard case for my Mosin because it was the only one I could find on short notice that was long enough. I'd like to get a better locking case for flying; the feds always seem to want to inspect my AK if I check it on a plane.

I just drag a 50 cal ammo can along to the range for ammo.

Zombie: Yes I do, I actually have a few. I have some for storing handguns, others for shotguns, various rifles, one for documents, and etc. I keep everything pretty organized, I have safes also for where my homes are. Utah, Washington, Colorado, Texas, and here in California. Also for the shopping kart, I actually was at Home Depot today, and saw a roller box meant to hold tools, with tray out, its almost completely square inside. Ended up not getting it though, yet.

Thanks for all the replies, was curious what everyone else was using
