hello i'm a 22 y/o male living in SoCal, and i was wondering WHERE IN THE WORLD would i find a lady like the ones on this site? every girl i meet seems to be scared of guns or it's a huge turn off for them. i feel as if i'll be alone forever! ladys help me by telling me where ladies like you hang out on friday and saturday nights. ahahaha!

I don't think us ladies have a certain place that we all hang out at. Every individual is different. Either you will meet someone who enjoys shooting firearms, or you will meet someone who has never shot before and then it would be up to you to introduce them to firearms.Comment

In my experience, current or former military experience, being mechanically inclined (engineers, mechanics, machinists), and outdoorsiness (liking hiking, camping, etc.) seem to be positively correlated with interest in firearms. For the most part (generalizing here) Every girl i have met that likes firearms is more into the family unit, spending time with friends in productive ways (read not going to bars or clubs) and involved in their futures. (so going to school, or working to pay for school).. For that reason you have less exposure to them, and I have actually known some girls for years and only recently found out they are into firearms or archery. They arent the type to go spouting off about everything they do and trying to get attention ha ha ha so once again kinda hard to find.
Whats more important is finding a level headed gal who understands you and wants to build a real relationship.. My dad and the family hate boating but we do it for my mom, My mom in turn rides dirt bikes all through the winter with us, and goes shooting from time to time. Its a give and take thing.. My cousins (female) are into shooting and dirtbikes because of me too, and they had never shot until they were over age 22. But my cousins are cool chicks and arent snobs so they try new things and keep an open head.
you could also try craigslist.. put your subject line as "Must love guns" youll get tons of hits

Find some ranges that have special days, classes, or events for ladies. A range in my area has ladies night every Thursday and once in a rare moment a single one appears.
Don't forget they are gun owners or interested in guns, so compliment them on their gun(s) and if you are lucky enough that they return the favor, offer to have them shoot yours.

I would say go to the range and try to strike up conversations during cease fire with girls that don't have a wedding band on. Or if you have a lot of guy friends that are into guns maybe ask them about friends of theirs that are girls? Or just date a girl and ask her if she would want to go out to the range sometime. It could be a good way to get to know her and a bonding experience? Just my $.02Winning hearts & minds.

My wife never even handled a gun in her life before me. She was freaked out by them in fact. So I slowly introduced her, first by cleaning it and showing her the parts then handling unloaded. Eventually she Senufo the range with me and shot. She is fine with guns now she just wants me to cut back on spending so much on them!!!Comment

Us girls who like shooting are out here, I promise. Just keep looking when you're at the range or involved in shooting competitions or classes. Or, as others have said, meet someone you like, and introduce it to them the right way.Comment
