Hey all,
I am a social worker and I deal with some unsavory and pissed off clients. We generally visit folks in their home, but the clients do know our work address. The security for a 8 story building is a bit lame. A few months ago, a disgruntled ex-employee acted threatening [on another floor]. I like to use the staircase for exercise, and the back staircase is normally vacant.
Would like to know if the legality of "open-carry", 0.75 ounce pepper spray extends to the workplace. I don't carry a purse, so I want to keep it on my belt. I have a flip top, so accidental discharge is highly unlikely.
Thanks for your feedback/advice/experience.
Linda
