    Gun show in Vallejo

    Was a nice little show!

I had one funny experience there. Was looking at ammo, specifically 5.56/.223. Had two little guys (looked like they took the wrong exit and went to the gun show instead of the computer shop) show up next to me also looking. The two guys are really excited about this ammo. One guy is telling the other all about the ammo and this is what he told him. "See that 55 gr listed on the label? That is normal ammo. Now see this here that says 62 gr? That makes it armor piercing ammo. That is why it is made by the Federals (Federal ammo) because it can pierce armor!" I almost had an accident in my pants I was laughing so hard. I could hardly pay the cashier who kept asking me what was so funny...

Now to make this story even more hilarious, is I went to a friends house down in Vallejo after I left who decided we should go to Red Lobster. As we're leaving she wanted to stop into Best Buy and pick up a flash drive. So I'm sitting outside with my mother in the car and who parks in front of me? Those two little guys from the gun show! I knew they made a wrong turn!

Anyways the Calguns booth looked great! Hope everyone down there had a good day!

Glad I had a chance to meet you in person -- your mom is so cute

Did you fill her little pockets with ammo???? I told my Better Half about that.. and he came by at the end to roll away my 3 cases of 500 rounds of .45 and .38 HBWC ammo - lol (Have to stock up on zombie-killing ammo!)

That was funny to hear... I think I would have started choking with laughter -- you are more disciplined than I am

It was great meeting you also!

Yep I filled up that walkers seat pocket with .223 and another mag Mom loved the iron pans they had there and is still kicking herself for not getting one of those desert storm ice coolers/moon bags or what ever the heck they were. Now I've got to go in search on the internet to find one.

Sorry I didn't know sooner about the "fridge bag" -- I see people hauling those things around at the show and finally broke down to see the interior - lol. I bought my kid's backpack at the last show I worked because he wanted one in cami, plus the pistol rugs were going special 3 for $XXX which I thought was much better than regular retail -- and they fit my 1911s!

I tend to glance at the ATM machine when I pass it while browsing... did you notice it's so much like a casino without any clocks... add some booze and uh oh!
